BC Finance Minister, Carole James delivered the BC budget for 2020. The Budget anticipates a surplus of

  • $227M for 2020
  • $179M for 2021
  • $374M for 2022

The biggest announcement is the introduction of a new marginal tax rate for income over $220,000. The new top provincial income tax rate is 20.5%.
