For our clients, you can expect a six-step professional process in our work:

ESTABLISHING AN ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT

Explain issues and concepts related to the overall financial process as appropriate for you.

DETERMINE YOUR GOALS & EXPECTATIONS

  • Make every effort to understand your life goals and how your finances can impact those goals.
  • Obtain information about your financial resources and obligations through interviews or questionnaires.
  • Gather all necessary information and documents before giving you the advice you need.

Together we will: 

  • investigate your values, preferences, financial outlook and desired results as they relate to your financial goals, needs and priorities.
  • Define your personal and financial goals, needs and priorities.

CLARIFY CURRENT SITUATION & IDENTIFY PROBLEM AREAS AND OPPORTUNITIES

DEVELOP SOLUTIONS & PRESENT OPTIONS

  • Develop and prepare a financial solution tailored to meet your goals and objectives, values, and risk tolerance, while providing projections and recommendations.
  • Present the solutions & establish an appropriate review cycle.

Together we will:

  • Work to ensure that the solutions meet your goals and objectives.
  • Assist you in implementing the recommendations discussed (as per your wishes). This may involve coordinating contacts with other professionals such as lawyers or accountants.

IMPLEMENT

Depending on the level of engagement agreed upon, we will:

  • Periodically contact you to review our progress and make necessary adjustments to the recommendations to help you achieve your goals.  This review should include:
    1.  An evaluation of the impact of changing tax laws and economic circumstances.
    2.  Changing life circumstances with the appropriate adjustments as necessary. These events include births, deaths, illness, marriage or retirement.

MONITOR & REVIEW

Together we will:

Agree on the frequency and reporting style and suits you best in order to monitor and evaluate the profess made on solutions implemented to achieve your goals. 

OUR FEES

We are committed to a transparent and honest fee model. We are compensated in three ways:

INSURANCE

If from our discussion and analysis you agree that there is a need for one of the insurance product solutions that I can offer,  we ask that you place your business with us.  We will be paid a commission, incentive, service or referral fee by the company that provides the product you purchase.  We are compensated at the time of sale and may receive further commissions as you maintain the policy.  For some products and services we may receive a referral fee.

MUTUAL FUNDS

All expenses and fees for mutual fund transactions, including management expenses, redemption fees and commisions will be disclosed to you at the time the sale is initiated. The specific application of these fees is detailed in the Prospectus or Fund Facts document. It is recommended that you read the Prospectus carefully and retain it for future reference.

FAVOURABLE INTRODUCTIONS

If in your judgement you find that our services were valuable to you, regardless if a purchase was made at this time, we would ask that you introduce us to your friends and acquaintances that you believe would likewise benefit from this kind of service. The growth of our business practice relies entirely on the referrals provided by our satisfied clients, and this enables our focus to be devoted to client services rather than marketing efforts.
